Powers of Persuasion: Posters from the Home Front
Utilizing the museum’s rich collection of World War II posters, teachers can use this kit to introduce primary sources into their World War II curriculum. Propaganda posters played an important role in encouraging Americans to support the war effort from home. Students will analyze a variety of World War II posters from the Museum’s collections created by the government in order to enhance their understanding of propaganda and its influence on society.
