Join Miss Annie of Great Beginnings Montessori School to celebrate diverse holidays and to explore the history of our town. Sessions will include reading about our theme, creating a unique craft and viewing some of the Museum’s fascinating exhibits. Together, we’ll learn to appreciate each other, our family, our communities and the world at large!

Please have your child bring a smock for messy work, a peanut-free snack and a small bottle of water to drink.

Native American Performance at Fairfield MuseumFamily Focus: The First Thanksgiving
Friday, November 28, 11am – 3pm     Free with admission.

Celebrate the gifts the Native Americans introduced to the colonists and enjoy a family-friendly performance of traditional songs and dances by Crowhill Shane Long. Shane performs traditional songs and dances of the Eastern Woodland People. Learn the rich cultural and artistic history of the Eastern Woodland People and their far-reaching region of woodlands, mountains, seacoast, and lakeshore. The day will also include family-friendly tours, hands-on activities and refreshments.
