Be a Part of Burr Mansion’s Grand History
Built around 1790 by Thaddeus Burr, the house was one of the cultural and social centers of Fairfield. During the American Revolution, Burr Mansion hosted George Washington, John Hancock, Samuel Adams, John Adams and Aaron Burr. John Hancock and his wife Dorothy Quincy were married there in a graceful ceremony.
Capacity
Burr mansion can accommodate up to 125 people for a standing party or buffet, and 95 for a seated dinner. For larger events, tents can be erected on the grounds directly behind the home. Please contact us to discuss the specific needs of your event.
