Join local novelist Dan Coonan as he discusses his novels, Presidential Spirits and Another Round—think of them as a political Field of Dreams. A moderate U.S. president who is struggling to lead amidst the country’s polarization stumbles upon a centuries-old saloon where he can drink at a nightly party with every former president, living or dead. He relishes this escape and the camaraderie with his new drinking buddies, but soon wonders if he can tap into their collective wisdom to craft a solution to fix the country’s divisive political dynamic.
Free with Museum admission. Please feel free to bring your own lunch. Snacks and refreshments provided.
