DESCRIPTION:Walk among the gravestones in the town’s oldest cemetery to discover the stories of Revolutionary War spy Caleb Brewster\, naval hero Samuel Smedley\, and patriot Eunice Dennie Burr. Uncover some of the burial practices in early New England while listening to long-buried legends that have haunted Fairfield for nearly 400 years. \nRegistration is required. Members: $15; Non-Members: $20. \n  \nTour Dates: Wednesday\, October 28; Thursday\, October 29; Friday\, October 30 at 5:30 pm on each night \nTour Location: Meet at Fairfield Museum Main Entrance. \n  \nProgram Details \n\nPre-registration is required—no drop-ins will be allowed.\nTours are approximately 60 minutes long and will depart on their ghostly journey promptly at 5:30 PM.\nTours will meet at the front entrance of the Fairfield Museum.\nFeel free to bring your own flashlights.\nPersonal photography is permitted at Museum programs. Continuous audio or video recording of our programs is not permitted.\nThis program is recommended for adults and kids ages 12 and up.\nPlease dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. We will be standing and walking for extended periods.\nThe Old Burying Ground can be difficult for people with limited mobility. Please contact the Fairfield Museum to discuss any accessibility concerns.\nIn case of inclement weather\, the Fairfield Museum will make every effort to reschedule the tour.
