Fashioning Women’s Suffrage

Join the Fairfield Museum for our Annual Meeting, as well as a talk by Dr. Heather Munro Prescott, Professor of History at Central Connecticut State University. Prescott will explore how suffragists used dress and other outward symbols to promote their cause.
“Voting Was Just the Beginning: 100 Years of Women Making History” marks the centennial of women’s suffrage and celebrates achievements of women leaders nationally. Presented in partnership with Fairfield County’s Community Foundation’s The Fund for Women & Girls and the League of Women Voters of Fairfield, CT.
