Family Focus: Veteran’s Day

November 12 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

Family Focus Free Activities for Families Fairfield Museum

Learn about some of the hometown heroes who have served our community and country! View historic uniforms from our collections, enjoy a Scavenger Hunt, and create a hands-on craft. Families are encouraged to write letters to the troops, in care of Operation Gratitude. We are also collection donations for Homes for the Brave, a local non-profit that provides housing and services to individuals experiencing homelessness, especially Veterans. Sponsored by People’s United Bank.

Please see the PDF below for the wish list. Some suggested items include paper goods, toiletries and cleaning items (body wash, deodorant, laundry detergent, liquid hand soap, lotion), food (powdered creamer, brownie/cake mix, snacks, tunafish), backpacks or duffel bags (new), mugs, etc.
