SPOTLIGHT ON: Redistricting: How is it Done? And Why Is That Important?

Join us for the second event in the 2021-2022 Fairfield League of Women Voters five-part series, SPOTLIGHT ON: REDISTRICTING and YOUR Vote—a new, free, multi-part series about the politics of voting. The talk will take place on Thursday, November 18, 7pm at the Fairfield University’s Dolan School Event Hall

SPOTLIGHT On: Redistricting: How is it Done? And Why Is That Important? will include three mapping scenarios, how they were created, and their impact on voting. Drs. Gayle A. Alberda, Assistant Professor, Politics; Mehmet Cansoy, Assistant Professor, Sociology & Anthropology; Kurt Schlichting, Professor, Sociology & Anthropology, and Jonathan Delgado, Center for Social Impact, will be your guides. 

This free pubic event is led by the League of Women Voters of Fairfield and is co-sponsored with the Fairfield Museum and History Center.
