Portraits of Fairfield

May 14, 2026 — November 1, 2026
Museum Commons

In collaboration with Southport-based photographer Loryne Atoui, the Fairfield Museum invites visitors to explore a free, outdoor exhibition on the Museum Commons featuring photographic portraits of 16 community members. The exhibition showcases today’s multi-faceted Fairfield community and celebrates the different people who call Fairfield home. Large-scale photographs will be displayed on the exterior of the Fairfield Museum building and other historic properties. Alongside the portraits, clips of oral history interviews sharing a piece of each community member’s Fairfield story are accessible by scanning QR codes throughout the exhibition.

This exhibition is presented in conjunction with Fairfield in 1776: Revolution & Resilience.
