Offering breathtaking views of the Museum Commons and historic Town Green, the Fairfield Museum is the perfect venue to host your next event.  The soaring post-and-beam Jacky Durrell Meeting Hall is an inviting spot to gather with friends, family, or colleagues, and the Museum’s galleries and exhibitions add a touch of sophistication.

A beautiful private room that can hold up to 100. Equipped with a modern sound system and projection system.

Fairfield Museum Reception Hall

Reception Hall

This area comes with the rental if after 4pm. Can hold up to an additional 75 guests. Double glass doors open to the patio.

The Patio

A private outdoor area that can be used after 4 pm. A beautiful spot with bistro lighting overhead.

Fairfield Museum Classroom

The Classroom

A more informal, smaller workspace (holds 20) that can be rented separately or used as a staging area for larger events.

Facility Information

Whether a formal board meeting or a casual employee retreat, the Fairfield Museum is the perfect venue for a business gathering. Our Jacky Durrell Meeting Hall can accommodate anywhere from 30-100 people, depending on the type of set-up. Evening events can also use the reception area and classroom for breakout sessions or event staging. The Museum is equipped with a sound and projection system.

Rental Rates

Rental fees are for a 5-hour period. Additional time beyond that 5-hour period will be billed according to the hourly rates provided. Unless agreed to in advance, all evening events must end and facilities must be vacated by 10pm. Rental hours begin when the first person arrives for set-up or preparation and end when facility clean-up has been completed and the last person exits the museum.
