Why Support the Fairfield Museum?
The Fairfield Museum and History Center is a privately-supported non-profit museum, library, and educational organization, founded in 1903. The Museum serves adults, students, and families from across southwestern Connecticut with a wide array of exhibits, events, and educational programs that teach regional history, celebrate our shared heritage, and prepare citizens to be more active participants in their community.
We believe in the power of history to inspire the imagination, stimulate thought, and transform society. We partner with area schools and community organizations to provide essential educational programs in social studies, literature, art, and other disciplines for more than 4,500 K-12 students from Greenwich to Danbury to New Haven.
Our success is achieved only through the generous support of individual donors and foundations like you. Please consider making a contribution today.
Your contribution is tax-deductible and will be put to work immediately, to support:
- The resources necessary to create a dynamic family and adult learning experiences
- Free admission for underserved students, so that everyone can participate
- Exhibitions that explore the fascinating diversity and rich legacy of our community
- Library resources that serve hundreds of students and researchers from around the country
Thank you for your support!
