With roots as farmland, Stratfield has seen many changes over Fairfield’s history. The neighborhood of Stratfield boomed in the 1800s due to the industrial might of Bridgeport, transforming into a suburb of the growing city. Join a special walking tour to explore neighborhood sites, trace the area’s development, and discover the different communities who called Stratfield home.
