About the Performer

Saxophonist and recording artist Greg Wall has recorded with Greg Wall’s Later Prophets, Andy Laverne, Hasidic New Wave, the Greg Wall/Frank London Band, Zion80, Portal, Kenny Barron, the Unity Orchestra, and has made many session appearances for record dates and film scores. After settling in Westport CT in 2013, Greg revisited his classic Jazz roots and soon started weekly performances with many of his long-time NYC collaborators. The audience he developed led to the creation of JazzFC in 2016, where he serves as Artistic Director.

Greg programs JazzFC’s popular Jazz at the Post series at Westport’s VFW, and regularly performs there with such luminaries as Ted Rosenthal, Steve Davis, James Weidman, Kenny Wessel, Sylvia Cuenca, Paul Bollenback, Harvie S, and many other world renowned Jazz masters.

The lineup:
Greg Wall, tenor and soprano saxophones
Ken Wessel, guitar
Rich Zurkowski, bass
David Alvarez, drums

Jazz at the Fairfield Museum is made possible by the generous support of Alan and Sylvia Neigher, Bank of America, and the CT Arts Endowment Program.
