Get ready for a chill in the air during a special tour of Greenfield Hill Cemetery. Discover the stories found within this centuries-old cemetery, the final resting place for nearly 1,000 of Fairfield’s earliest residents. Hear tales of Revolutionary War heroes, Isaac Bronson, and many others as the leaves rustle and autumn descends upon us.

Space is limited. Registration is required. $10 for Members; $15 for Non-Members.

 

**When purchasing admission, you will NOT receive a physical ticket. All you need to do at check-in is provide your name.**

 

Tour Location: Meet at the Greenfield Hill Cemetery gate on Bronson Rd.

 

Program Details

  • Pre-registration is required—no drop-ins will be allowed.
  • Tours are approximately 45 minutes long and will depart on their ghostly journey promptly at 10 AM and 11:30 AM.
  • Tours will meet at the gate on Bronson Road.
  • Park on Bronson Road in the grassy area along the stone wall of the cemetery.
  • Please note that there are no restrooms at this location.
  • This program is recommended for adults and kids ages 12 and up.
  • Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. We will be standing and walking for extended periods.
  • The Greenfield Hill Cemetery can be difficult for people with limited mobility. Please contact the Fairfield Museum to discuss any accessibility concerns.
  • In case of inclement weather, the Fairfield Museum will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Please check the Fairfield Museum website (www.fairfieldhistory.org) for weather-related updates.
  • No refunds will be given unless the program is cancelled by the Fairfield Museum.
