Kick off Halloween weekend with a special tour of Oak Lawn Cemetery & Arboretum! Dive into the final resting place for many notable local residents, including Mabel Osgood Wright, Jason Robards, and Mary Tyler Moore. You’ll also discover the cemetery’s design as a place for the living with its role as an arboretum and many natural features.
Space is limited. Registration is required. $12 for Members; $15 for Non-Members.
Tour Location: Meet at Oak Lawn Cemetery entrance.
Program Details
- Pre-registration is required—no drop-ins will be allowed.
- Tours are approximately 45 minutes long and will depart on their ghostly journey promptly at 10 AM and 12 PM.
- Tours will meet at the front entrance of Oak Lawn Cemetery & Arboretum.
- When purchasing admission, you will NOT receive a physical ticket. All you need to do at check-in is provide your name.
- This program is recommended for adults and kids ages 13 and up.
- Restrooms will be available.
- Please bring water with you.
- Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. We will be walking and standing for extended periods, mostly on paved roads throughout the cemetery.
- In case of inclement weather, the Fairfield Museum will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Please check the Fairfield Museum website (www.fairfieldhistory.org) for weather-related updates.
- No refunds will be given unless the program is cancelled by the Fairfield Museum.
